The YWCA-WWC is grateful for the support of DTE Energy Foundation, sponsor of the Mosaic.

At the 2011 Women of Achievement Luncheon event, the YWCA unveiled a large Mosaic, created from 4,000 individual drawings, using the theme: Helping Women and Their Families Achieve Their Dreams - Imagine the Possibilites! DTE Energy Foundation, sponsor of the Mosaic, and students from Thompson Middle School, unveiled the artwork.

The large scale mosaic mural will serve as a permanent tribute to the YWCA of Western Wayne County and its community. The mosaic will be permanently displayed in the lobby of the new YWCA building in early 2012.

Participants who created artworks for the mosaic can access their artwork in the Project S.N.A.P. Online Art Museum.
