Committee Volunteers

Share your ideas and opinions on ways to improve the YWCA’s programs and services! We have a variety of committees to suit your area of interest or specialty!

Task Force

Have a direct impact on the YWCA through the implementation of new processes and standards! Help us create the most effective programs and services for the community!

Administrative Angels

Administrative Angels assist the YWCA Administrative staff with clerical duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with bulk mailings, preparing correspondence to be mailed, data entry, making photo copies, and other duties as assigned by volunteer coordinator.

Building Assistants

Building Assistants assist maintenance staff with building upkeep and large office projects. No experience necessary!

Groundskeepers

Seasonal volunteers that have a green thumb! Volunteers help maintain the YWCA Administrative Offices and keep it looking beautiful!

YWCA Street Team

The Street Team assists the YWCA with promotions of its activities, events, and programs. These individuals will be called on an as-needed basis. Street Team members assist in distributing flyers around the community and promoting the YWCA at special events!

Star Readers!

Help a child learn to read! The YWCA is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to read to and assist children enrolled in our pre-school programs with reading activities! Afternoon and morning options are available.

Events Team

The YWCA Events Team assists YWCA staff at community events throughout the year. Annual YWCA Events include: Summer Camp, Women of Achievement Awards Luncheon, WinterFest, and more! The Event team will assist with preparation and day of event duties.
